Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Wiseboard (“Wiseboard”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit defense.wiseboard.me (the “Site”) or contact us through it. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.
1. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Information you give us — when you complete a form on the Site: your name, company, email address, the option you select, and any message you write.
- Technical data — collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, primarily to keep the Site secure and functional.
- Analytics & advertising data — where you consent, cookies and similar technologies record how you use the Site and help us measure our campaigns — described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange a conversation with our team;
- send you a confirmation that we received your request;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- where you consent, measure how the Site is used and the performance of our marketing;
- comply with legal, regulatory, and export-control obligations.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: your consent — when you submit a form, and for analytics and marketing cookies; our legitimate interests — in responding to enquiries, securing the Site, and cookieless measurement of aggregate traffic and performance; and compliance with a legal obligation where relevant. You may withdraw consent at any time — for forms, by contacting us; for cookies, through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
4. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only to the extent needed, with:
- Operational providers — who help us run the Site and respond to you — our email delivery provider and internal team-messaging tools.
- Analytics & advertising providers — which receive data only where you have given the relevant consent — Google (Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), Digituary (site analytics), and Meta and LinkedIn (advertising measurement and audiences).
- Vercel — which provides cookieless, privacy-friendly measurement of aggregate traffic and page performance.
Each processes data under its own terms. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers — including those above — may process data outside your country, such as in the United States. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection, such as relying on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
6. Retention
We keep personal data from forms only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for our legitimate business and legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Aggregate analytics data is retained for a limited period (up to 14 months for our main analytics) and then automatically deleted.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@wiseboard.me. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
