The Naval Research Laboratory is the corporate research laboratory of the Navy and Marine Corps, spanning sensing, electronic warfare, space systems, materials and maritime autonomy. It publishes broad, long-running BAAs that keep its research areas open to industry and academia. Awards are US contracts and some efforts restrict foreign access, so a Ukrainian firm generally participates through a US prime or research collaborator.
