Y Combinator is the best-known startup accelerator and has begun openly recruiting defence and government startups, with a Fall 2026 request-for-startups co-authored by the US Army Secretary. It provides a standard investment, intensive batch programming and access to an extensive alumni and investor network. International founders are welcome, but the batch runs in person in San Francisco and YC generally requires reincorporation as a US Delaware entity.
